If I could give zero stars I would. This woman is full of herself. My son is 18 now. His child hood was ruined by this corrupt and biased GAL. There are many good GALS, but this one is a snake. She would never listen to me. She even made fun of me once. She questioned my exam grades in College and why I rented a car to pick up my son. She recommended my son live with his Felon Alcoholic father and psychopath Step Mother (who is also now a felon). I tried to fight for my son for years, but she would literally laugh at me or suggest I take a psych evaluation, etc. I had no record, no addictions, no loser boyfriends..I just didn’t have an attorney. Meanwhile my son had his head split open twice by the stepmom. She shoved his head in a toilet, held a knife to him, threw him across the yard, choked and beat him. Even the teachers were on my side. Well 7 years into it I got an attorney named Ben Rand and that’s all it took. He even cornered her and asked how in the hell “they” ever got any custody of my son? She shrugged and smirked. My son’s ex stepmom beat him so bad one day I had to rush my son to the hospital. His dad is in a recovery home. The police were always at the dad’s house for DV. CPS had a million cases opened from teachers making reports. Ms. Berkeley always still took their side. The stepmom finally went to prison. I finally saved my son. We will both be in therapy for the rest of our lives thanks to that soulless waste of oxygen. I don’t care if she reads this either. She needs to. There are so many other victims of her corruption and negligence out there. There needs to be a class action law suit against her.

Very bad GAL. She was very biased and apparently sides with females. Beware gentlemen! she did not communicate with me during my case but did communicate with mom. She is not a good advocate for any children. Gentlemen, she is not on your side no matter what, do not be fooled by her. She will question everything you say when you testify but will assume everything mom says to be true. She recommended my special needs child to relocate over 3k miles aways because according to her it was in my child's best interest even though I'm a super active parent. She knew I attended all doctors appointments, school activities, therapies for almost two years since mom and I separated. She almost made me lose my son.

She was appointed as my daughter's GAL and did nothing but agree with whatever absurd recommendation the social worker had! Despite my disagreeing with the social worker Donna allowed my aunt to get sole custody of my child and neither of us (me or child) wanted that. No school visits no police reports no proof whatsoever that I was unfit or that it was in the best interest of my child. DO NOT TRUST HER! If the court appoints this lawyer to you please ask for another more attentive and supportive GAL!! She does not care about your child's best interest or parent's opinion; will tell you one thing than do another at court.

She gave my kids to their dads without knowing all the facts and now she dont even know where they are really actually laying their head at night. I call and email but she will respond to the dad meanwhile my family and I with the most mean to support the children she ignores and see something wrong in everything.
