Environment and Atmosphere:

While specific details about the physical office environment are not readily available online, the professional conduct and dedication reflected in client testimonials suggest a well-organized and client-focused atmosphere. Law firms that prioritize positive client outcomes and efficient communication often maintain a professional and supportive environment where clients feel heard and understood. The fact that clients specifically mention the helpfulness of the staff indicates a welcoming and supportive front office.

Comprehensive Legal Services:

Beaty Hatch PC appears to offer expertise in several key areas of law. Based on the provided reviews, their practice areas notably include:

Personal Injury Law: One client's powerful testimonial highlights the firm's success in a personal injury case involving a motor vehicle accident with a drunk driver. The review emphasizes attorney Michael Beaty's effectiveness in securing a favorable financial outcome for the injured party during a challenging time. This suggests a strong capability in handling personal injury claims, including those arising from car accidents and potentially other incidents causing harm due to negligence.

Criminal Defense: While not explicitly detailed in the reviews, the mention of the "Clark Vancouver police" in the context of the drunk driving incident suggests that Beaty Hatch PC likely has experience in navigating the local legal system, which could extend to criminal defense matters. Their understanding of local procedures and law enforcement practices could be a valuable asset for clients facing criminal charges.

Family Law: Although not directly mentioned in the provided reviews, it is common for law firms of this nature to handle various family law matters such as divorce, child custody disputes, and related issues. Given the comprehensive nature often associated with established PC (Professional Corporation) law firms, it is plausible that family law services are within their purview. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact the firm directly to inquire about their specific expertise in this area.

Key Features and Strengths:

Based on the feedback from real clients, several key features and strengths of Beaty Hatch PC emerge:

Results-Oriented Advocacy: The most striking feature is the firm's apparent dedication to achieving positive results for their clients. Michael Beaty is specifically commended for "knocking it out of the park" and ensuring a "payday" for his client in a personal injury case. This strong endorsement speaks volumes about his advocacy skills and commitment to securing favorable outcomes.

Professionalism and Hard Work: Jeff Hatch is described as "professional" and someone who "worked hard," even going the extra mile during the holiday season due to the opposing party's lack of diligence. This highlights the firm's commitment to thoroughness and client service, even when faced with external challenges.

Client Communication and Responsiveness: While one suggestion for improvement involved streamlining communication through a shared document system, the fact that Mr. Hatch provided "feedback that was in my favor prior to trial" indicates proactive communication and a commitment to keeping clients informed about the progress of their case. The willingness to provide feedback and work diligently suggests a client-centered approach.

Experienced Attorneys: The presence of named partners, Michael Beaty and Jeff Hatch, suggests an established firm with experienced legal professionals. Having seasoned attorneys handle cases can provide clients with a higher level of expertise and strategic guidance.

Local Expertise: Located in Vancouver, WA, Beaty Hatch PC possesses local knowledge of the Clark County legal landscape, including familiarity with local courts, procedures, and potentially relationships with other legal professionals. This local expertise can be advantageous in navigating the legal system effectively.

Supportive Staff: The positive mention of Michael Beaty's staff indicates a supportive and helpful team that contributes to a positive client experience. Efficient and caring staff can significantly ease the stress associated with legal proceedings.

Areas for Potential Improvement (Based on Client Feedback):

One client offered a constructive suggestion regarding internal communication and document management. The recommendation to "create a shared drive" to give everyone working on a case access to shared documents aims to prevent repetitive questioning and ensure efficient information flow. This feedback is valuable and suggests that the firm is likely receptive to improving their internal processes to enhance client experience further.

Michael Beaty really knocked it out of the park for me. November 2021 I was hit by a drunk driver in the middle of the afternoon on a Saturday, attempting to ride my bike to my local gym but I never made it. God sent angels to protect me because the impact of the driver should have killed me. The driver should be doing jail time but that’s Clark Vancouver police for you. Anyway, I really thought that bad luck was going to continue on in my life but Michael Beaty my attorney, Thank you Jesus!! Michael really made sure that I received a payday from the accident, I’m really grateful Michael and your staff for helping me in my dark times. I pray you continue to use your expertise to help others like me. Many blessings to you and your family!

I hired Jeff Hatch and am satisfied with how he handled my case . The only suggestion I would recommend - for future cases is to create a shared drive. The drive gives everyone working on the case access to shared documents. There was a couple times I had different people calling me, asking me questions that I recently provided answers to . It was stressful, because there was time crunches and with my Job I was not always able to drop everything to answer the phone or send copies promptly. Mr. Hatch provided feedback that was in my favor prior to trial . He was able to get a majority of what I was asking for . Mr. Hatch is professional and worked hard through the holiday (due to the other party and attorney not being thorough/ attentive). I would recommend .

Avoid William Ball, unless you're looking for a milquetoast middleman who masquerades as a lawyer. I had the misfortunate of hiring him from Beaty Hatch during my dissolution. I went in the assumption that he was going to fight for me and resolve the dissolution in a timely fashion. That is all I asked for in our initial meeting, regardless of the outcome. After just two months, I was so baffled by his unresponsiveness and lack of interest in the case (he'd routinely take days or weeks to reply to even simple questions, if he'd respond at all) that I asked him what additional compensation would incentivize him, to which his secretary replied that she would print out my last email for him. Imagine hiring a lawyer for 300 USD / hr who is so disorganized that he can't even keep track of client emails and needs a secretary to hold his hand. Well, you don't need to imagine. You can just hire William Ball. As time went on, who the lawyer was between us become increasingly blurred. Numerous emails to the judge and opposing counsel were just him forwarding text I wrote with his name attached. Here are more instances of poor work on his part that I'd like to highlight. 1. Before the first "mediation" session with the opposing counsel in mid-April, I had made it extremely clear that I wanted to resolve the dissolution as quickly as possible. By that point, opposing counsel had two months to prepare. So what does Mr. Ball do just a week before mediation? He agrees with the opposing counsel to push it out two more weeks, so she can prepare more! I immediately emailed him asking why on earth he would do that, to which he basically replied, "oops, too late." 2. Mr. Ball failed to inform me that I was allowed to hire my own business valuator to valuate my LLC. I only found out later because another lawyer told me. Considering that this valuator's work contained factual errors and bad analysis, this kind of information would have been incredibly useful. Another lawyer reviewed Mr. Ball's work shortly after I fired him. Upon learning about his failure to recommend our own valuator, the other lawyer commented, "[This] seems UNBELIEVABLE and incredibly negligent." 3. During the second "mediation" session, Mr. Ball was given an opportunity to question the valuator's work. His efforts were nothing short of embarrassing. Instead of homing in numerous lines of evidence indicating that she had put little effort to her analysis or had relied on problematic assumptions, he spent forty minutes tossing her softball questions that did nothing to bring into question the credibility of her valuation. 4. The verdict of the "equalization" provided by the arbitrator included false information about statements made during "mediation". What did Mr. Ball do in response? Absolutely nothing. Not a peep of protest, despite acknowledging that the arbitrator's decision contained factual errors. I was dumbfounded. At that point, the reality sank in that I was just another case he could cram into his schedule and extract money from. I had spent months thinking, "OK, soon he's going start fighting. He's just waiting for the right moment to pounce." Nope. By the time I realized I had been had, it was too late. The total amount I had to pay this firm for such low quality work is nothing short of horrifying. I gave a long list of grievances regarding his performance. His equally unprofessional manager, Valerie Nack, responded to with a cheeky claim that I'm merely disappointed by the outcome of the dissolution. No, let's not mince words: even if I had "won" (if such a thing can even happen in divorce), Mr. Ball is still incompetent. The outcome was unjust, even by Mr. Ball's own admission, but that is the arbitrator's fault, not Mr. Ball's fault. Mr. Ball was asked to perform a job with a certain level of quality and professionalism and he failed to do it. Not once have this firm offered any sort of apology. Not once was I offered a refund of any kind. Instead, they chose to harass me with collections.
