The provided client reviews offer a glimpse into the experiences of individuals who have worked with Barry A Sturtz PC. One review comes from Liz Benuscak of Century 21 Full Service Realty, who describes working with Barry on a "very difficult deal." She praises his dedication, stating that he has "gone over and above to take care of our client's interests" and is "working very hard to protect everyone in this transaction." Ms. Benuscak expresses strong respect for Barry and cannot say enough good things about him. This review highlights a positive experience where Barry Sturtz is perceived as highly dedicated and protective of his client's interests in a complex transaction, likely involving real estate or business law.

However, another review presents a significantly different perspective. This client states that Barry was recommended by their realtor but believes he "failed in his duty to protect us, the buyers, in our negotiations" and even "actively took advantage of us." This is a serious accusation and warrants careful consideration. The client provides specific examples of alleged negligence, including a failure to conduct due diligence on the HOA's finances and a denial of ever receiving the condo’s Offering Plan or properly reviewing it for the buyers. The client also mentions being "pressured into signing" a contract with sections where the seller was allegedly in violation.

While the client acknowledges that Barry Sturtz helped to recoup some money, they felt it was "not nearly enough to cover the cost of repairs or for the amount of personal time it cost me to deal with all the problems." The review concludes with the client expressing deep unhappiness with their living situation in a condo with unresolved issues after three years, stating they lack the financial resources and energy to move. This detailed negative review raises serious concerns about the level of protection and due diligence provided to this particular client in a real estate transaction.

Considering these contrasting reviews, it is challenging to definitively state the typical services and features of Barry A Sturtz PC without knowing the specific nature of each case. The positive review suggests expertise in handling complex deals, potentially in areas like real estate or business law, with a strong focus on protecting client interests in those specific situations. The negative review, however, points to potential shortcomings in representing buyers in real estate transactions, particularly concerning due diligence and contract review.

It is important to note that legal experiences can vary depending on the specific circumstances of each case, the complexity involved, and the individual needs and expectations of the client. The two available reviews offer a snapshot of two different experiences, one highly positive and one highly negative, possibly in different areas of law or different types of transactions.

Without specific promotional information from Barry A Sturtz PC itself, we must rely solely on these customer reviews to understand how the firm is perceived by some of its clients. The positive review from a realtor suggests a potential strength in working with real estate professionals and handling complex transactions in that field. The negative review serves as a cautionary tale, highlighting potential issues in representing individual buyers in real estate deals.

Barry was recommended to me and my family by our realtor. I have to say that, not only did he fail in his duty to protect us, the buyers, in our negotiations, but I believe he actively took advantage of us. For starters, he failed to do due diligence in researching the finances of the HOA, and later denied ever having received the condo’s Offering Plan--not to mention, never having properly reviewed it for us. The contract we were pressured into signing included sections in which the seller was clearly in violation. While he did help to recoup some of the money, it wasn’t nearly enough to cover the cost of repairs or for the amount of personal time it cost me to deal with all the problems. In the end I moved into a condo with many issues that, after 3 years, are still not resolved and most likely never will be. I am very unhappy living here and unfortunately I neither have the money nor the energy to move.
