Reviews

  • Not certain where exactly to start. This has the appearance of being a money collection racket based on the premise that they will help you with a foreclosure, or other legal matter. 1. They are slow, unresponsive, and unprofessional. 2. They seem to be unable to coordinate document submittal and forward the documents to the lender in a timely manner. 3. They have repeatedly asked me for documents that have been previously submitted. In several instances they have asked me for documents that were uploaded to their website weeks earlier. 4. They demonstrate reluctance to provide activity records, such as call logs etc., or documentation detailing the work done on your behalf. They DO provide a weekly update. However, this is basically invalid as they have not submitted the required documentation to the lender. All smiley faces and roses. I will say that when it comes to collecting their monthly fees they are very punctual. Babbs will start calling me two (2) weeks prior to the due date to make sure all is well with the payment schedule. Additionally, I'll give them credit for persistence; they expected payment [even] AFTER my modification attempt was denied. On all levels this appears to be a confidence scam to take advantage of the unfortunate folks that find themselves compromised with their mortgage company. My counsel would be to not do business with Babb’s Law under ANY circumstances.
  • They will take your money and won't have any communication with you even thou they claimed they have, they will lie to your face about everything until they receive every dollar from you. I send them documents which they state they haven't received, read the reviews, im not the only one as far as I can see. They were on point when it came to withdraw your money from your bank account but dissappear right after that by not answering your calls making you to leave messages that they never respond to. Stay away from them, I just spoke to Destiny from the complaints dept and she was kind of aggressively spoken towards my refund lying to my face about not receiving any documents. Stay away from Babbs.
  • To begin. I am a retired disabled Vet They were recommened to me by an Accquantance. At first they were very professional and were very responsive. I paid them money up front to start files for bankruptcy. I had filed to prevent the selling of my house. During this time we were constantly in communication. Recently the Chapter 13 was dismissed due to lack of documention so I was told my the paper I recieved in the mail. Since it was dismissed I have lost my vehicle that I used for a loan to pay them. Now the people who took my vehicle wants $150.00 for me to get my personal items. Now they have a new sale date on my house which is the 29th of March. All I want is some communication or a return of my phone calls. I feel like I have been abandoned. I guess I can say I am confused.
  • DO NOT use this "Lawfirm"... It's a complete scam and they can go ahead and comment on this review too that I am not a customer or whatever because that would also be a lie... I unfortunately caught on to their scam a little too late and lost out big time... I'm a single Mom of three kids and they STOLE from us... They will not give me a refund and say that they have to recalculate all the hours they spent on my case and deduct that from refund.... BS!!!!!!! Stay away from this place
  • Very professional. Kind, light spirited, easy to work with, diligent, we could go on and on. If you want to feel at ease about having a great lawyer he will work on your behalf to succeed, we suggest Sam. Thank you so much!

Babbs Law Firm is situated at 4767 New Broad St Suite 308, Orlando, FL 32814, USA. This address places the firm in the Baldwin Park area of Orlando, a community known for its structured environment. New Broad Street is a recognizable location within Orlando, which can facilitate navigation for clients seeking to visit the office.

The firm’s presence in a suite within a professional building suggests a standard office setup for legal consultations. Based on the provided customer reviews, Babbs Law Firm appears to offer legal services, with a specific mention of assistance with foreclosure and other legal matters. While a detailed list of all their legal services is not available from the provided data, the recurring theme in the reviews points to:

  • Foreclosure Assistance: The firm explicitly states its premise to help with "foreclosure, or other legal matter," suggesting they represent clients facing mortgage-related legal issues.
  • General Legal Matter Handling: Beyond foreclosure, the firm indicates a capacity to handle "other legal matter," implying a broader scope of practice, although specific areas are not detailed.
  • Document Submission and Coordination: Reviews mention the firm's role in coordinating and submitting documents to lenders, indicating a service that involves managing paperwork crucial to legal processes like loan modifications or other legal resolutions.
  • Weekly Updates: The firm claims to provide "weekly updates" to clients, which suggests a structured communication protocol regarding the progress of cases.
  • Financial Management and Fee Collection: Reviews indicate a consistent process for collecting monthly fees, suggesting a structured billing system for their services.

It is important for potential clients to directly inquire about the full range of services offered by Babbs Law Firm and to understand the specific scope of representation they provide for different legal concerns.

Based on the provided customer reviews, which present a critical perspective, the features and highlights of Babbs Law Firm from a client experience standpoint can be understood as follows:

  • Structured Fee Collection: Clients note the firm's punctuality and persistence in collecting monthly fees, often initiating contact "two (2) weeks prior to the due date." This indicates a highly organized and proactive approach to billing and financial management.
  • Regular Communication (Scheduled Updates): The firm "DO provide a weekly update," suggesting a system in place for consistent, albeit general, communication with clients regarding their case status.
  • Focus on Specific Legal Areas: The mention of "foreclosure, or other legal matter" indicates a specialization or focus on particular types of legal challenges, which could be a highlight for clients seeking assistance in these specific areas.

It is important to note that these are interpretations based solely on the provided client reviews, which express significant dissatisfaction regarding responsiveness, document handling, and perceived communication breakdowns. These reviews highlight areas where clients felt the firm's performance did not meet their expectations in terms of efficacy and client support, despite the structured approach to financial matters and scheduled updates. When evaluating a law firm, prospective clients should always weigh all available information, including both stated services and client feedback.

Legal services, particularly those involving complex issues like foreclosure, typically do not lend themselves to traditional "promotions" or "special offers" in the retail sense. Law firms generally base their fees on the nature and complexity of the legal work involved, the time commitment, and the specific expertise required for a case.

Based on the provided reviews, there is no mention of specific promotional discounts or special offers by Babbs Law Firm. Instead, the reviews highlight a specific aspect of their fee structure:

  • Monthly Fee Structure: Clients mention "collecting their monthly fees" and payment being expected even after certain attempts were denied. This indicates a consistent monthly payment model for their legal services, rather than a contingency fee or flat fee for the entire case outcome.

For potential clients in Florida, it is crucial to fully understand the fee structure and payment terms before engaging any legal firm. When considering Babbs Law Firm, individuals should directly inquire about:

  • The exact nature of their fee arrangements for specific legal matters (e.g., hourly, flat fee, monthly retainer).
  • What services are explicitly covered by the monthly fee.
  • The firm's policy regarding refunds or adjustments if a desired outcome is not achieved or if services are terminated.

It is always advisable for prospective clients to have a clear and comprehensive discussion about all financial aspects of their legal representation before signing any agreements. This transparency is key to managing expectations and ensuring a satisfactory client-attorney relationship.

Prospective clients are encouraged to utilize these contact details to reach out to the firm directly for inquiries regarding their legal needs. When considering legal representation, Floridians, particularly those facing challenging situations like foreclosure, seek firms that offer reliable support and effective solutions. Based on the provided customer reviews, while Babbs Law Firm is physically located in Orlando, its suitability for locals is a matter that requires careful consideration.

The firm’s stated focus on foreclosures and other legal matters addresses a direct need within the Florida community, where property and financial issues are significant. Their central Orlando location in Baldwin Park also offers geographical convenience for many residents.

However, the provided client feedback raises substantial concerns regarding communication, responsiveness, and perceived efficacy. Reviews describe issues with documents not being received, a lack of communication after initial payments, and aggressive tones from their complaints department. These are critical factors for any local resident entrusting a law firm with sensitive and vital legal issues. For a firm to be truly suitable for locals, it must not only be accessible but also demonstrate consistent professionalism, transparent communication, and a clear commitment to effective case management.

While the firm does provide "weekly updates" and is diligent in fee collection, the overall sentiment from the reviews suggests a disconnect between these procedural aspects and the actual progress and client satisfaction. Therefore, for Floridians researching legal options, it is paramount to proceed with extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence. This would involve seeking multiple consultations, asking detailed questions about communication protocols, payment structures, and case management procedures, and carefully weighing all available public information before making a decision. The suitability of Babbs Law Firm for locals, as indicated by the provided reviews, appears to be heavily challenged by significant negative client experiences.
