The single customer review available provides a detailed, albeit critical, perspective on one individual's experience with Attorney Cassie G. Bowns during a divorce case. This review highlights several aspects of the representation that the client found concerning. The client mentioned occasional delays in communication, which they acknowledged might be normal. However, the core of the critique revolves around the client's feeling of not being properly represented, particularly after an unexpected document surfaced in the case. The client expressed a perception that Attorney Bowns seemed less inclined to aggressively represent their interests following this development.

The reviewer described their ex-husband as a "narcissistic person habitual adulterer" who allegedly engaged in financial, psychological, verbal, and physical abuse. The client stated that they attempted to share this information and evidence with Attorney Bowns but felt that she was not aggressive enough in dealing with the ex-husband's attorney. The client believed that the opposing side held an advantage due to the aforementioned document, leading to concessions on their part to finalize the divorce. An email from Attorney Bowns to the client further solidified the feeling of inadequate representation, as the client interpreted it as prioritizing the ex-husband's need for "space and a chance to be a father," despite his alleged past behavior. The client ultimately felt that Attorney Bowns may have been influenced or "convenienced" by the ex-husband's portrayal of himself.

The review also mentions the client's discovery of an article written by Attorney Bowns about fathers, which led the client to believe that Attorney Bowns might have a pro-father bias that did not align with the specifics of their case. The client concluded that they did not feel heard or believed. Ultimately, the reviewer offered a nuanced recommendation: if someone is seeking an aggressive attorney who will fight vehemently for their interests, they should look elsewhere. However, if the case is "cookie cutter," the reviewer suggested that Attorney Bowns might be an excellent choice, while also noting that she seemed like a nice person. The review explicitly states that the intention was not to critique Attorney Bowns' character but rather to share the experience of feeling less than fully represented in a complex divorce case.

Potential clients should carefully consider this feedback alongside their own needs and the specifics of their legal matter when evaluating her services. The reviewer's distinction between "cookie cutter" cases and more complex scenarios is a key point to consider.

In terms of promotional information, the single available review does not offer a positive endorsement that would typically serve as a promotion. I really struggled with giving this review. I decided to submit the review because I feel like I’ve been silenced for so long in my situation. I am moving on, my divorce has been final for about 4 months now. It wasn’t contested, but it came close. Cassie represented me. There were delays in getting back with me from time to time but I guess that’s normal. My case took a turn when my ex-husband found an old document that I thought was voided. After that, I didn’t feel properly represented. I didn’t feel as though Cassie wanted to keep representing me. Over the course of the two years that it took me to get divorced, I saw my ex-husband doing what I figured he probably would do, was convenience not only his lawyer, but my lawyer, that he was the injured party or the victim. My ex-husband is what can described as a narcissistic person habitual adulterer who financially, psychologically, and verbally abused me and physically, abused our older daughter. It is very difficult to get people to believe what all he has done to me and my children. I tried to tell Cassie numerous times, and even sent her some videos, but I felt as though she was not aggressive enough when it came to my ex-husband‘s attorney. I felt as though they had the upper hand at all times because of the document, and I had to concede on just about everything to have the divorce go through. I even received an email one night from Cassie that solidified in my head that she was not properly representing me, but I just went through the motions to get the divorce over with. She basically was telling me that my ex-husband needed space and a chance to be a father all the while this man had every opportunity to be a father in the 18 years we were married. He abruptly left me and my girls, moved to Manassas and created a false identity/reality of how our life was, and he has had everyone convenienced that has come into his path. I feel like he even had Cassie convenienced. It wasn’t until I found an article that Cassie had wrote about fathers. then it dawned on me that she was pro father, but in my case it didn’t fit. I don’t feel like anybody has listen to me, or believed me because he’s been that convincing and manipulative. If you want an aggressive attorney, that’s going to be on your side and fight for you with every fiber of their being, then I would tell you to find another attorney. If you have a cookie cutter case, then Cassie would be an excellent attorney. I don’t know her as a person. I’m not here to critique her character or anything. She seems like a very nice person, but I do feel as though I wasn’t 100% properly represented in my divorce case.
