Client reviews provide varied perspectives on their experiences with different attorneys and practice areas within the firm, offering potential local users important insights.
Located on West State Street in Doylestown, Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP operates from an accessible location within the community. While specific details about the firm's environment are best understood through a visit, professional legal offices typically aim to provide a confidential and comfortable setting for client consultations. The convenience of their Doylestown location makes them a potentially accessible option for residents seeking legal assistance in the area.
Based on the limited information available from the two contrasting client reviews, it is challenging to definitively outline the specific services offered by Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP. However, we can infer potential areas of practice based on the nature of the cases mentioned in the reviews:
- Personal Injury Law: One review explicitly mentions Christine Bailey and her staff handling an accident case. This suggests that the firm provides legal representation to individuals who have been injured due to the negligence of others. The positive experience shared in this review indicates competence in this area.
- Family Law (Custody): Another review details a negative experience involving a custody battle, initially handled by Jessica Pritchard and subsequently by an attorney named Liz. This indicates that the firm handles family law matters, including child custody disputes. However, the reviewer expressed significant dissatisfaction with the handling of their case by these specific attorneys.
- Adoption Law: The same negative review mentions an adoption process that was initiated with an attorney named Melanie. The reviewer reported a lack of progress and ultimately a negative experience with the services provided for this matter.
The features of Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP, as perceived through the lens of these two contrasting client experiences, present a mixed picture:
- Client Dedication (in some cases): The positive review of Christine Bailey highlights a significant feature: a sense of being treated as a priority, even for what the client perceived as a less significant case. This suggests that at least some attorneys within the firm are dedicated to providing attentive and personalized service.
- Potential for Inconsistent Service: The negative review raises concerns about the consistency of service across different attorneys and practice areas within the firm. The allegations of being "pawned off," receiving discouraging advice, and experiencing a lack of progress in an adoption case suggest potential issues with communication, case management, and attorney performance in certain instances.
- Staff Support (in some cases): The positive review mentions the faultless handling of the case by Christine Bailey and her staff, indicating that effective staff support can contribute to a positive client experience.
- Lack of Progress and Communication Issues (in some cases): The negative review details a concerning lack of progress over several months and suggests potential communication issues or a lack of attention to the client's case by specific attorneys.
- Ethical Concerns (raised by one client): The negative review includes a serious allegation about an attorney's personal issues affecting their professional performance and a suggestion to report the attorney to the ethics board. This raises significant concerns about professional responsibility and client care in at least one instance.
Given the stark contrast between the two provided reviews, it is challenging to present definitive promotional information for Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP. The positive review of Christine Bailey could serve as a testament to the firm's potential for providing excellent client care and achieving positive outcomes in certain practice areas like personal injury. It suggests that some attorneys at the firm are dedicated and attentive.
However, the negative review serves as a significant cautionary note, highlighting potential issues with other attorneys or in different practice areas such as family law and adoption. It suggests that potential clients should exercise caution and perhaps seek detailed information about the specific attorney and their experience in the relevant area of law before retaining the firm.
For local users in Doylestown seeking legal services, the information available presents a nuanced picture of Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP. While one client had a highly positive experience with Christine Bailey in a personal injury case, another client reported significant negative experiences with other attorneys (Jessica Pritchard, Liz, and Melanie) in family law and adoption matters. This discrepancy suggests that the quality of service may vary depending on the specific attorney and the area of law.
Potential clients are strongly encouraged to conduct thorough due diligence, including seeking additional reviews or references, and to have detailed discussions with any attorney they are considering hiring at Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP, about their specific legal needs and the attorney's relevant experience and track record. It would be prudent to inquire about the attorney's communication style, case management procedures, and expected timelines.
To learn more about Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP, and to potentially speak with an attorney, you can contact their office at (215) 230-7500 or their mobile number +1 215-230-7500. However, given the conflicting client experiences, it is crucial for prospective clients to conduct their own thorough evaluation to determine if this firm is the right fit for their specific legal needs.
In conclusion, Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP in Doylestown, PA, has received both positive and negative feedback from clients. While Christine Bailey is praised for her exceptional client care in a personal injury case, other clients have reported significant issues with attorneys in family law and adoption, including allegations of neglect and poor communication. This mixed feedback suggests that the quality of service may vary within the firm. Local users should proceed with caution and conduct thorough research before deciding to retain Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP for their legal needs.

Christine Bailey and her staff faultlessly handled my accident case. I know I was not her most profitable and highest profile client, but she treated me as if I were her ONLY client. That is an art! Thank you Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP
Unfortunately using this firm set me back years. I used Jessica Pritchard originally for my Custody battle and she pawned me off on Liz, who was basically telling me I will never have hope with getting what I want. I ended up switching to Melanie, for an adoption process that we started in August. Turns out that come end of October, not one thing was done. I was disgusted to learn that no work was ever done except for the initial paperwork and clearances and immediately upon hiring a new lawyer everything was filed immediately and things are well underway. The lawyer should be reported to the ethics board as she should’ve taken time away from her job as she was dealing with personal issues that completely affected her performance. But instead I was lead on for months and had precious time wasted. When another firm already has done so much more for us in less than a month. Do not waste your time with this firm.
We hired Denise Bowman to help us with matters relating to a construction project at our home. During our work together, Denise was elected to be a Judge at Bucks County Court of Common Pleas and unfortunately could no longer represent us. We were concerned to lose her as she was terrific and represented us well. Turns out, our concerns were unwarranted. Gabe Montemuro stepped in to replace her and quickly got up to speed on our matters. He was very professional, thorough and responsive to all questions, and was just a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Gabe and the firm of Antheil Maslow & MacMinn, LLP.
This firm is disgusting. They will sell you a dream and make every excuse when they do not produce, blame everyone else but still want insane fees. Terrible in the court room. Great at finding ways to run up fees. Their billing practices should be illegal!!! Do not hire!!! They will not have your back they only want your wallet. They will also completely dismiss you when you start questioning billing. Be sure to check reviews everywhere before you think about the mistake of hiring them. If I could give 0 stars I would.
We recently had the pleasure of working with Lynelle Gleason of AMM. It was the best experience we've had working with a lawyer. Lynelle was very professional and thorough in answering our numerous questions and walking us through the process. She is dedicated to her clients and extremely knowledgeable about the legal system. Lynelle is definitely a lawyer you can trust and one that we will surely hire again if the need arises.
