Hired this team to work on my divorce. I worked with Chad Eubanks. He would not respond for weeks to my my questions or concerns unless I cc'd his team on the email. He is late to sending documentation in and did the bare minimum, essentially doing what I could have done (submitting a responce to a devorce), but with a thousand dollar price tag. And I still haven't heard from him after a month of trying to contact him and get discoveries submitted. Which never got done. He sounds great during consultation but he is all bark and no bite.

We met with Chad Eubanks and we literally paid him 5k upfront to get the case started and got nothing accomplished. He is terrible at communicating, never did the basics that he should have done and now after we got a good lawyer somewhere else the lawyer said we missed about 3 court hearings during COVID that according to Chad he emailed us saying he “had it covered”, the new lawyer we have got more accomplished in 1 month then Eubanks ever did in 4 or 5 months, we pretty much had to start back from scratch. I would say if you have a serious case and need a lawyer to fight for you he is not your guy, now If you have an easy case that is only filing for things he should be ok.

When I first contacted this office, Allen was my attorney. Unfortunately and sadly he needed to left my case. I believe it was very hard for the firm have to take over all the cases from Alen and try not to drop the ball. I assume that at the beginning it was a little caos, since the attorneys that took Alen’s cases had to go over them , understand the cases and help Alen’s clients. Chad was my attorney and I want thank him, Les and Sue for making this process so easy for me. They were there for my needs and the emergência meetings I needed. They were very understandable on my finance at that difficult time of my life and very patient. It is very important to have trust between the attorney and the client and you will find here with Chad. I want to thank Chad, Les and Sue for all the support on the difficult time and the amazing job, and if I could I would thank Allen too, which was so kind and amazing too. Thank you, Wanessa

For residents of Bothell, Washington, and the surrounding areas, understanding the experiences of previous clients with a legal firm is a crucial step in selecting appropriate counsel. This article aims to compile publicly available data regarding Anderson, Fields & McIlwain, Inc., P.S., specifically focusing on the client feedback related to attorney Chad Eubanks, to help local users learn more about this firm. Our goal is to present this information in a straightforward manner, allowing you to proceed with caution and thorough due diligence.
Choosing a lawyer is a significant decision that can profoundly impact the outcome of your legal matter. It's essential to research thoroughly and consider the experiences of others. For Anderson, Fields & McIlwain, Inc., P.S., and attorney Chad Eubanks, the provided client reviews raise considerable concerns. One review states, "Hired this team to work on my divorce. I worked with Chad Eubanks. He would not respond for weeks to my questions or concerns unless I cc'd his team on the email. He is late to sending documentation in and did the bare minimum... And I still haven't heard from him after a month of trying to contact him and get discoveries submitted. Which never got done." Another client's experience was even more critical: "We met with Chad Eubanks and we literally paid him 5k upfront to get the case started and got nothing accomplished. He is terrible at communicating, never did the basics that he should have done and now after we got a good lawyer somewhere else the lawyer said we missed about 3 court hearings during COVID that according to Chad he emailed us saying he “had it covered”... we pretty much had to start back from scratch."
This feedback suggests significant issues with communication, responsiveness, and performance, potentially leading to adverse outcomes for clients. It underscores the importance of exercising extreme caution and conducting independent verification of any claims or services before engaging this firm or attorney. This information is provided to help Washington residents be aware of the context surrounding Anderson, Fields & McIlwain, Inc., P.S., and attorney Chad Eubanks, enabling them to make well-informed decisions regarding their legal representation.
Location and Accessibility
Anderson, Fields & McIlwain, Inc., P.S., is located in Bothell, Washington, with their office situated at 12900 NE 180th St Suite 155, Bothell, WA 98011, USA. This address places the firm within a commercial complex in Bothell, generally accessible to residents of Bothell and surrounding areas in King and Snohomish Counties. For those driving, the location on NE 180th St is a relatively common route, and parking within or near commercial complexes is typically available.
While the physical address itself is located in a generally accessible part of Bothell, which might be convenient for local residents, the practical accessibility and reliability of engagement with the firm, particularly attorney Chad Eubanks, are critically impacted by the client reviews. The reviews highlight significant communication issues, including a lack of responsiveness and failure to submit documentation or attend court hearings, which severely undermine the firm's operational accessibility. A physical location is only truly accessible if the legal services provided within it are reliable and responsive to client needs.
For individuals in Washington considering this firm, while the geographic location in Bothell might initially seem convenient, the reported difficulties in communication and case management from clients suggest that actual access to effective legal service might be compromised. Therefore, prospective clients are advised to consider these communication issues alongside the physical location when evaluating the firm’s overall accessibility and suitability for their legal needs. Verifying current responsiveness and case handling protocols would be a crucial step.
Services Offered
The provided client reviews for Anderson, Fields & McIlwain, Inc., P.S., specifically mention legal services related to "divorce" and "case started." This indicates that the firm, or at least attorney Chad Eubanks, handles family law matters, particularly those concerning divorce proceedings.
Based on the direct client feedback, the types of services they were reportedly engaged for include:
- Divorce Proceedings: Assisting clients through the process of divorce, which typically involves submitting responses, potentially dealing with discoveries (information exchange between parties), and representing clients in court hearings.
- General Case Initiation/Management: Taking on cases, collecting upfront fees to "get the case started," and managing initial stages of legal actions.
- Filing for Things (as noted by a client): Implies handling legal paperwork and procedural filings that might be considered straightforward, without requiring extensive litigation or complex advocacy.
However, it is crucial to note that while these services were reportedly offered or engaged, the reviews strongly suggest significant issues with the execution of these services. Clients explicitly state that essential actions, such as submitting discoveries, were "never got done," and court hearings were "missed." This implies a substantial gap between the services expected and the services delivered.
Given these severe concerns regarding performance, prospective clients in Washington are advised to exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough independent verification of the firm's current capacity to reliably deliver on any stated legal services, especially in areas that require consistent communication and diligent case management.
Features / Highlights
When assessing a legal firm, "features" and "highlights" typically pertain to positive attributes, areas of strength, or distinguishing qualities that benefit clients. However, in the case of Anderson, Fields & McIlwain, Inc., P.S., and specifically attorney Chad Eubanks, the provided client reviews present significant concerns rather than positive highlights in the traditional sense.
- Initial Consultation Impression: One review mentions that Chad Eubanks "sounds great during consultation," suggesting a potentially persuasive or reassuring demeanor during initial meetings. However, this is immediately contrasted with concerns about follow-through.
Conversely, the reviews strongly highlight several concerning "features" or patterns of behavior:
- Severe Communication Lapses: A primary and consistent concern is the profound lack of responsiveness. Clients report that the attorney "would not respond for weeks" unless a team member was "cc'd" and that they "still haven't heard from him after a month." This points to systemic communication failures.
- Failure to Perform Basic Duties: Clients allege that the attorney "never did the basics that he should have done" and "did the bare minimum." Specific examples include being "late to sending documentation in" and discoveries that "never got done."
- Missed Court Hearings: A critical highlight of concern is the report that "we missed about 3 court hearings during COVID that according to Chad he emailed us saying he 'had it covered'." Missing court hearings can have severe, detrimental consequences for a client's case and is a profound breach of professional duty.
- Lack of Fight for Clients: One review explicitly states, "if you have a serious case and need a lawyer to fight for you he is not your guy," contrasting initial impressions with actual performance ("all bark and no bite").
- Financial Concerns Without Accomplishment: Clients reported paying "5k upfront to get the case started and got nothing accomplished," indicating a significant financial outlay without tangible progress or results, leading to feeling as though they "pretty much had to start back from scratch" with a new lawyer.
These "features" as described by former clients are critical warnings for any potential client. They do not represent professional strengths but rather significant operational and ethical concerns that should be thoroughly investigated before considering any engagement with this firm or attorney.
Promotions or Special Offers
When considering legal services, potential clients often inquire about promotions or special offers, such as free initial consultations or specific fee structures. For Anderson, Fields & McIlwain, Inc., P.S., and attorney Chad Eubanks, the provided client reviews do not detail any specific "promotions" in the sense of discounted services or unique client benefits.
However, the reviews do indicate that an "initial consultation" takes place, during which the attorney "sounds great." While the reviews don't explicitly state if this consultation is free, it is a common practice in the legal industry for initial meetings to be offered to prospective clients to discuss their case.
Crucially, the client feedback also highlights a significant financial aspect that acts as a warning rather than an offer: clients paid "5k upfront to get the case started and got nothing accomplished." This indicates a substantial upfront fee without commensurate progress or results, leading to dissatisfaction and the need to seek new counsel and "start back from scratch."
Therefore, based on the provided information, there are no positive promotions or special offers highlighted for Anderson, Fields & McIlwain, Inc., P.S. Instead, the financial information shared by clients serves as a serious caution regarding the investment required versus the reported outcomes. Potential clients in Washington are strongly advised to inquire thoroughly about fee structures, what specific services are covered by any upfront payments, and to seek very clear commitments on communication and case progress before making any financial arrangements. Due diligence on the firm's performance and client satisfaction is critically important.

- Phone: (206) 905-4290
- Mobile Phone: +1 206-905-4290
While these contact details are readily available, it is essential for prospective clients to consider the significant concerns raised in the client reviews regarding communication and responsiveness. Reviews repeatedly mention difficulties in reaching attorney Chad Eubanks, a lack of responses for weeks, and the necessity of copying the entire team on emails to elicit a reply. One client explicitly stated, "I still haven't heard from him after a month of trying to contact him."
Therefore, while the firm provides standard contact methods, the practical experience of clients suggests that attempting to reach them and maintain consistent communication might be challenging. Conclusion: Why this place is suitable for locals
When assessing the suitability of a legal service provider for local residents in Washington, key factors typically include professional competence, reliable communication, client satisfaction, and ethical conduct. However, based on the publicly available client reviews for Anderson, Fields & McIlwain, Inc., P.S., and particularly concerning attorney Chad Eubanks, the firm's suitability for locals is not supported. In fact, the provided information strongly suggests that extreme caution is warranted.
While the firm has a physical address in Bothell, which offers geographical proximity for local residents, the practical accessibility and effectiveness of their services appear to be severely compromised by reported operational issues. The most significant concern highlighted by multiple clients is a profound and consistent lack of communication. Reports of "not respond for weeks," "never did the basics," and "missed about 3 court hearings" are critical failures that directly undermine trust and the ability to effectively represent a client. For any legal matter, especially sensitive ones like divorce, reliable and timely communication is non-negotiable.
Furthermore, client experiences where a "5k upfront" payment led to "nothing accomplished" and the need to "start back from scratch" with a new lawyer indicate a significant financial and emotional toll without tangible progress. This suggests that for serious cases requiring active and diligent advocacy, the firm, specifically attorney Chad Eubanks, might not be suitable. The assessment that "if you have a serious case and need a lawyer to fight for you he is not your guy" provides a direct warning to those facing complex or high-stakes legal battles.
In a community like Bothell, where residents rely on trusted professionals for critical legal needs, the concerns raised about Anderson, Fields & McIlwain, Inc., P.S., and attorney Chad Eubanks, present substantial risks rather than suitability. This information is provided to empower locals to make well-informed and safe decisions regarding their legal representation. Prospective clients are strongly advised to conduct thorough independent verification of the firm's current operational practices and client satisfaction records through official channels before considering any engagement.
