I had an extremely disappointing experience with this law firm while applying for my H-1B visa. Despite getting selected in the H-1B lottery, holding both a bachelor's and master's degree and being a lawyer myself, my application was mishandled, ultimately leading to its failure. The firm is clearly understaffed, taking weeks—sometimes a month—to respond. They failed to provide timely updates and, worst of all, made critical errors such as misspelling my name in official documents. It is basic for lawyers not to make this type of mistake in legal practice , this not only damaged my credibility but also raised unnecessary concerns with immigration authorities, jeopardizing my application. Sophie showed up on video call to close my deal but I have never been able to get a hold of her throughout the entire process. To make matters worse, my company paid a significant amount of money for what turned out to be a completely unprofessional and unreliable service. Given the importance of immigration matters, I expected professionalism and attention to detail, but unfortunately, their service was far from it. I strongly do not recommend this firm to anyone seeking trustworthy legal assistance.

I had the privilege of working with Sophie and Jomana on my EB1A application, and I’m incredibly impressed with her expertise and professionalism. They were extremely responsive throughout the entire process, always taking the time to understand my personal story. Jomana’s attention to detail was remarkable; she carefully crafted the application to highlight the most important aspects of my background and achievements from a legal perspective. She also meticulously reviewed all supporting documents, ensuring each one was framed in the best possible light. Her strategic approach and deep understanding of immigration law were crucial to the success of my application. Thanks to Sophie and Jomana's hard work, my EB1A application was approved without issues. I highly recommend Alcorn Law to anyone seeking professional and thorough immigration legal assistance.

Very trained set of lawyers and good response time. Some might see them to be a bit pricier but they are actually worth. Right from my first discovery call with Nadia, they have been extremely professional. After a couple of months, the case was handed over to Paige Whitlow who spear headed the whole process after Nadia had left the firm. Paige is one of the most professional lawyers I have worked with. She was extremely helpful in getting my paperwork done and clarified a lot of my doubts. Lana, Kellen, Cori were other attorneys who had supported the case. Shout out to all of them for getting me greened. Highly recommend them.

I don’t recommend this firm, unfortunately. I originally left a 1-star review because I had a bad experience. Then Sophie called me—she was genuine on the call, and I removed the review hoping things would improve. Unfortunately, they did not. Their process is very inefficient (or simply slow; I can’t tell) and everything is taking much longer than it should. They don’t communicate the timeline and are always slow to respond in all interactions I’ve had. For example, I once had my employer ask a couple of questions because the initial review of the Prevailing Wage was taking a long time (40+ days with no update). Ten days after those questions were submitted, they came back with some updates, but there were still unanswered questions. I’m tired of having to ask about those unanswered questions again, which, in my experience, takes another 10+ days to get a response. Imagine every step being like this in your already stressful immigration application process. It might sound minor, but these delays really add up. I can’t even tell why things are so slow or why they are sequenced the way they are. I hope others can avoid the same experience I had.

I recently obtained my green card with the invaluable assistance of Alcorn. They handled my H-1B visa and extension cases with utmost professionalism and expertise, paving the way for a smooth transition to permanent residency. Throughout both processes, their attention to detail was impeccable. I truly appreciate their dedication and guidance, which culminated in the successful attainment of my green card. I highly recommend Alcorn for anyone navigating complex immigration matters. Thank you for your outstanding service!
