Avoid using this firm as a closing agent. The attorney missed a critical piece of information regarding a discrepancy between the HOA in my contract and the HOA in the estoppel. I spoke with Adam about this oversight to which he agreed that it was an unfortunate situation. When making such a large purchase, you want to feel confident that the team you have behind you is on the ball, looking out for their clients, and are accountable, unfortunately that is not the case for the Adam Josephs firm. I emailed Adam about a month ago requesting a partial refund or inquiring what he thought would be fair considering the circumstances, and he has yet to reply. Update: Adam emailed me now that I have shared my experience of the interaction. They state that because I elected to share my grievances by writing a review online, and that I chose "this route", it directly impacts their desire to continue discussing with me a resolution. Despite him stating in the email response that he was planning to email me to find a resolution (mind you it has been nearly 90 days since I first addressed this with him, so I do find it convenient that just only now he was interested in owning up to the issue), this does seem childish/unprofessional to, within the same email, say you won't be helping because I left reviews online. The email response was not level-headed and primarily felt he was mostly interested in proving to me that I was wrong, that he was right, that I am to blame for him not providing a resolution due to the reviews I shared. The fact that he claims he *was* going to offer a resolution, does show culpability on some level that he believes services may not have been entirely perfect.
